Robin Yocum, a Brilliant native and the author of critically acclaimed and award-winning novels set in the Ohio Valley, will appear at the Bellaire Public Library, 330 32 nd St., on Wednesday, June 16, at 6 p.m.
Bellaire Public Library is now offering Click & Collect curbside service on Mondays from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm, and Thursdays from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm. Click & Collect is a safe and convenient way for patrons to pick up “on-hold” items from the library. Patrons can wait in their vehicle while a member of the staff brings the items out to them or they can grab their items from a designated space/area. To take advantage of this service you will need to download the free SEO Libraries App from the Apple App Store or Google Play, sign in to your library account with your library card number and PIN. If you have holds available at the library, simply click on the "Click and Collect" button during curbside hours and follow the directions.
Starting in mid-January, we will be offering two Story Times. One on Thursdays evening at 5 pm and one on Friday mornings at 10:30 am. We hope to see Bellaire area kids ages 3 to 5 for some reading, crafts, and fun with Miss Bri! After our final Story Time of 2022, Lil' Bookworms will return in mid-January.
Join for the return of the GSV Winter Lecture Series in 2023! Featuring presentations of local historical and community topics, these programs are held on Wednesday nights at 6 pm in the Community Room on the lower level of the Library throughout the months of February and March. All Winter Lecture Series programs are free for the public to attend. First program is Feb. 1!
To compliment the lecture “Thanks for the Memories-Bob Hope in Bellaire” presented Wednesday, February 1, by Attorney Daniel L. Frizzi, Jr. at at the first program of the 2023 Great Stone Viaduct Lecture Series, the Library will host a public viewing of the Bob Hope movie, "My Favorite Spy" on Thursday, February 2. The 90 minute viewing will start at 6 pm in the Community Room of the Library's lower level. Popcorn and light refreshments will be provided.
