Bellaire area members of the public - the Bellaire Public Library needs your help! If you have children or grandchildren ages 3-5, we would like to know which days and times would be the most convenient for you for us to hold our Story Time programs.

The Library has a limited supply of at-home rapid COVID test kits. Distribution of the rapid test kits is through curbside service only. Call the library at 740-676-9421 before planning a visit to make sure kits are still available, then stay in your car upon arrival and call the library to let staff members know you are here to pick up test kits.
Bellaire Public Library received a grant from T-Mobile for the funding of these wireless hotspots to provide electronic connections to the Internet for school staff, students and library patrons who do not have access to the Internet. See link for more information.

In observation of the Memorial Day weekend, the Bellaire Public Library will be closed Saturday, May 27 through Monday, May 29. As we head into the holiday weekend, we extend our gratitude to all the men and women who sacrificed their lives while serving in the country's armed forces and wish our patrons a peaceful and safe holiday. Stop in at the Bellaire Public Library at any time to sign up for the Bookaholics Anonymous Book Swap, our new book club where you drop recommend a book for someone else to read and then randomly pick someone else's recommendation. Once a month, we'll discuss the books we read, what we loved about them, what we didn't. Those that recommended the books can defend their choices or share their praise. First potluck discussions will be the last Thursday of the month at 12pm.
The tenth annual Great Stone Viaduct Series concluded March 22nd, 2023, with a record-breaking series attendance over 600. A big thank you goes out to all of our presenters and our attendees for making this years come back a huge success. BPL was honored to be able to partner this year with The Great Stone Viaduct Historical Education Society to have both in-person and online programming for the 2023 series. All of the programs from 2023 series are now online for viewing.
