January's meeting of the Chess Club will be held Saturday, January 5th at 10 AM.
Join us for Chess Club the first Saturday of each month! Chess Club will meet from 10:00 am - 1:30 pm. A Chess Coach will be available at every meeting to teach and answer any questions. Chess sets will be provided. Tournament boards and refreshments available. Call the library for more details at 740-676-9421. Ages 12 to adult are welcome.
Annual Community Christmas Caroling, sponsored by the Friends of the Bellaire Public Library, will take place on Monday, December 12th, at 12:30, stating in the lobby of the Bellaire Public Library. Refreshments to follow. Please join us in this wonderful holiday tradition started by Mr. Emilio Bonfini.
Bellaire Public Library is pleased to feature art from the students of Bellaire High School. We have several incredible pieces of art on display in the library through November 21st. Please stop in and check out the amazing work of these talented students.
There will be a Special Board Meeting at the library on Friday, April 22nd at 5:30 PM to discuss personnel.

Join us as we celebrate the one year anniversary of our book club! We will be reading and discussing While My Sister Sleeps by Barbara Delinsky. Light refreshments will be served.
In a joint effort to promote awareness of the rich Ohio Valley history, The Bellaire Public Library and The Great Stone Viaduct Historical Education Society are once again teaming up to sponsor the Local History Winter Lecture Series. This well-attended lecture series is now in its fourth year. Lectures are scheduled each Wednesday during the months of February and March at 6:00 p.m. in the library’s community room. Light refreshments are also provided.
