Sixty years ago, on November 22, 1963, John F. Kennedy, the 35th president of the United States, was assassinated while riding in a presidential motorcade through Dealey Plaza in Dallas, Texas, at approximately 12:30 pm. To commemorate the 60th Anniversary of his death, a display honoring the memory of JFK’s enduring legacy — and serving as a solemn reminder of the tragic event that occurred 60 years ago — will be on display at the Bellaire Public Library through March of 2024.
Tuesdays at 5:30 pm and Fridays at 10:30 am. BPL's Lil' Bookworm Story Times are designed for children ages 3-6 years old, though all ages are welcome. The programs typically run about a half an hour. Join Miss Bri this coming fall for some reading, crafts, and fun!
The Library has a limited supply of at-home rapid COVID test kits. Distribution of the rapid test kits is through curbside service only. Call the library at 740-676-9421 before planning a visit to make sure kits are still available, then stay in your car upon arrival and call the library to let staff members know you are here to pick up test kits.
