Lil' Bookworm Story Time is for kids ages 3 to 5BPL's Lil' Bookworm Story Times and Craft are designed for children ages 3 through Pre-K, though all ages are welcome. These programs typically run for about half an hour.  Join Miss Bri for a story, a craft, and lots of fun this fall on Thursday evenings at 5:00 pm and Friday mornings at 10:30 am.

FALL SCHEDULE:Fall 2024 Lil' Bookworms Schedule at BPL

  • Thurs., Sept. 19 at 5:00 PM and Fri., Sept. 20 at 10:30 AM
    NIGHT TIME: Wear your pajamas and bring your favorite stuffed animal to Story Time! We’ll read “Peeps in Pajamas” and make a glow-in-the-dark puffy paint star.
  • Thurs., Sept. 26 at 5:00 PM and Fri., Sept. 27 at 10:30 AM
    LEAVES: What’s that chill in the air? It’s Fall! We’ll book a book with the same name to celebrate the changing season and make an autumn windsock. 
  • Thurs., Oct. 3 at 5:00 PM and Fri., Oct. 4 at 10:30 AM
    BATS: Who keeps stealing all the cherries? We’ll find out when we read “I am Bat.” Then we’ll make our own flying bat during craft time.
  • Thurs., Oct. 10 at 5:00 PM and Fri., Oct. 11 at 10:30 AM
    WITCH: There’s a witch in our book and she keeps making a mess. Help us use magic to clean up her mess, then make your own with our paint splat cauldron craft! 
  • Thurs., Oct. 17 at 5:00 PM and Fri., Oct. 18 at 10:30 AM
    PUMPKINS: Splat the Cat picks the perfect pumpkin. Now how will he get it home? Find out at this week’s Story Time. We’ll make a pumpkin craft for you to take home!
  • Thurs., Oct. 24 at 5:00 PM and Fri., Oct. 25 at 10:30 AM
    HALLOWEEN: Are you ready for trick-or-treating? Pug & Pig are …or are they? Help us get Pug in the Halloween spirit by wearing your Halloween costumes to Story Time this week. We’ll make a haunted pumpkin patch craft and trick-or-treat around the Library! 
  • Thurs., Oct. 31 at 5:00 PM and Fri., Nov. 1 at 10:30 AM
    OWLS: Whooooo, whoooooo is the cutest animal in the 
    forest? Not Baby Owl, or at least he thinks... until Mama Owl agrees! We’ll read “I’m Not Cute!” then make an adorably cute owl with paper plates and cupcake liners.
