Stop in at the Bellaire Public Library at any time to sign up for the Bookaholics Anonymous Book Swap, our new book club where you drop recommend a book for someone else to read and then randomly pick someone else's recommendation. Once a month, we'll discuss the books we read, what we loved about them, what we didn't. Those that recommended the books can defend their choices or share their praise. Potluck discussions are held the last Thursday of the month at 5pm.

Cricut Craft Night: Halloween Bags

Join us for a Halloween-themed Cricut Craft night, Wednesday, October 26th at 6 pm. Decorate your own custom Halloween canvas bag with vinyl stencil cutouts made on the Library's Cricut machine. Limit of 12, ages 12 and up. Reservations will be taken on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Under the Sea Ceramics

Paint an ocean-themed ceramic piece from Ready, Aim, Fire Ceramics and learn about the process of creating ceramics from the slip molds to the firing process. Choose from a mermaid, a snail, or two pieces of coral (or two morel mushrooms, depending on how you paint them). Painted pieces will be  fired in the Ready, Aim, Fire studio and returned to the Library to be picked up. 

($5 registration fee. Limit of 25 people.)
