Are you planning to be in Bellaire temporarily? We now have a card for you. Privileges are limited to 90 days, with the charge limit of one item. Overdue threshold and bill threshold are the same as for any borrower which is 10 cents per day up to the cost of the book. If after the card has been renewed three times (270 days), without incident, or after the patron has secured a permanent address, the restrictions are lifted allowing the patron to check out DVDs, CDs and other audio formats.
- DVDs circulate in one week intervals. Fine rate is 10 cents a day, but the grace period is only three days. Patrons can re-new the DVD(s) if they have not finished viewing them.
- Teens may check out DVDs for in-house use only up to four hours at a time. There is not a grace period. Fine rate is 10 cents for every hour late. Teens must leave their library card at the circulation desk while the DVD is checked out. Sign-up sheet, which includes name and time of check-out must be completed upon checkout.DVDs that are checked-out by teens do not leave the teen area. Teens must wear earphones while watching DVDs or listening to music.

Mover’cize is an hour class, adaptable and effective for everyone. It offers simple self directed movements. The exercises are intended to empower individuals to regain and maintain their physical and emotional wellbeing. Along with relaxation, Kathleen provides instructions on how to incorporate simple beneficial movements into daily life. Participants say they have a ton of fun.
