Hey guys! Want to learn to play guitar but not quite ready to put money into lessons? Come to our eight-week guitar course and learn all about the guitar and the very basic method of playing chords and tunes. The course will began on August 21st at 3:00 p.m. Come to the circulation area to register.
Now that you have a brand-new teen area in the library, we need your help to make it your own. The library is sponsoring an Art Contest for teens 13 to 19 years old. Any art form (paintings, photos, wall hangings, woodcarving, etc. will be accepted and considered. Winners will be announced on October 7th. Their artwork will be displayed in the Teen Area. Mover’cize is an hour class, adaptable and effective for everyone. It offers simple self directed movements. The exercises are intended to empower individuals to regain and maintain their physical and emotional wellbeing. Along with relaxation, Kathleen provides instructions on how to incorporate simple beneficial movements into daily life. Participants say they have a ton of fun.
