Local History Winter Lecture Series - Margaret Brennan - Feb. 10

photo of Margaret Brennan in blue dress and green turtle neckOn February 10th at 6:00 p.m., Margaret Brennan is guest speaker at the annual Winter Lecture Series. Her topic is "The Wheeling Hospital During the Civil War". Margaret is a native of Wheeling. She received her B.A. in History from Wheeling College and an M.A. in History as well as a certificate in Public History from West Virginia University.  She has taught high school social studies and worked in archival administration. Her current interests include Civil War History, Irish History, and slavery and the Underground Railroad. This is a free event and open to everyone.  Refreshments served.

The Winter Lecture Series is a team effort between the Bellaire Public Library and the Great Stone Viaduct Society.
